Session 1 begins next week! Remember it starts Monday June 29th and ends Thursday July 2nd. It's going to be hot. Bring sunscreen, water, towels, and anything else you need to stay safe and cool in the sun and the heat.

The address of the pool is 1325 W 5000 S. Please park on the street, not the driveway. Go ahead and go straight to the back yard through the white fence between the garages. Please be respectful of my parents' property: throw away garbage and leave all the flowers, fruits, and veggies for them to enjoy. :) See you Monday.

2015 Swimming Lesson Schedule

It's Summertime! Time for fireworks, camping, backyard parties, BBQs, and Swimming Lessons. The older my kids get the trickier it is to schedule my swimming lessons. Sorry for the delay and for the shorter lesson run. I look forward to seeing you all.

Session 1- ONE WEEK ONLY $20
Monday June 29 - Thursday July 2
Classes sometime between 1-4pm

Session 2- TWO WEEKS $40
Monday July 20- Thursday July 23
Monday July 27- Thursday July 30
Classes sometime between 1-4pm

How much do you charge?

$40 for one session which is 8 half hour lessons.

How do I sign up?

Let me know you are interested by text, email, or phone. Spots are reserved once you send or bring payment.

What days do you teach?

Monday -Thursday. Fridays are reserved for rain make-up days or if there is a holiday.

How long are the classes?

30 minutes

What ages do you teach?

3 and up

How many are in a class?

It depends on the age, but no more than 5-7. Less in the younger classes and more in the older classes.

How does it work?

After all the children are signed up, I place them in classes based on experience and age. Then I try to arrange classes so that siblings are back to back. This means that exact class times are not given until I arrange the schedule. More about the time of day will be given later. Usually between the hours of 1 and 3:30pm.

What do I need to bring to my lesson?

A swimsuit and towel. Remember to put on sunscreen. Goggles are optional. If you decide to get them, buy good quality goggles that they will not have to constantly adjust and empty water out of them. Also, make sure that the swimsuit does not have floaties built into it.

Can parents watch?

Yes, you may watch. If your child is highly distracted by you, try to stay out of sight. The pool is fenced and the yard is fenced so other siblings are welcome to watch or play while waiting.

Do you teach adults?

Yes.

Do you teach private lessons?

I prefer to teach the group lessons, but I can do private lessons if there is a specific need.

Things to remember about the Pool and Yard

Please clean up after yourself. There are garbage and recycle cans right by the lesson area.

Please respect the yard where the lessons take place. Watch your children

Don't allow your children to pick flower tops or throw fruit from the garden.

Remember the hoses and sprinklers will go off they are set for certain areas so please make sure that your children are not playing with them. It can be a hazard for the owners and It is usually not discovered until things are dying and they are not sure why.
